THE TWO FACES OF COLOMBIA

If anyone has had the fortune to leave Colombia, talk to a stranger or just have communicated with a Colombian who is outside their national borders, most probably know and understand in depth the subject matter of this article; For other , which should be few, I know it will not seem strange reality of this country and the vision that people outside or even ourselves.

no doubt that when we mention the word "Colombia" to an outsider, in seconds the brain begins to associate: Drugs, Paramilitaries, Guerrillas, Mulas, Kidnapping, Pablo Escobar, and not to be too negative for its neurons appears laditos Juanes, the Kid and John Valdes, And then that's where we come to question what the cause of this so-called reputation we have built over the years Are not the media fed by a tabloid culture?, will the producers of soap operas and regional films only care about the Rating and silver, or do Colombians will be us that we are going abroad to show the face of Colombia?. Maybe for those of us Colombians, not too difficult to understand that although this country has everything for foreigners "EN COLOMBIA" to us is only part of it that hurts, that overshadows the reputation of this country; but most of it is made by good people, hardworking and honest people, that there is another side of Colombia to more than half the world expected to know.

If you ask a foreigner who has come to Colombia, who has spent a long period time in our country, you know say I was wrong: It is not only Colombia Pablo Escobar, the FARC and Drugs, That the people of Colombia is the kindest, most cheerful, that Colombia is human wealth, natural wealth in Colombia is harmony in spite of the difficulties being experienced, despite a negligent state every day makes the rich richer and the poor poorer. Good thing as when a foreigner "dares to come to Colombia" and goes really convinced that we are a country full of opportunities and great things, we began to give a new face, to sell the brand "COLOMBIA" to the world, to sell the qualities and skills of thousands of Colombians who daily rise in the conviction to serve the society with harmony and the desire to work.

What most strikes me is that thousands of Colombians only know their neighborhood and perhaps one or two tourist sites, and dream of going to Miami, Falls, Machu Picchu and Berlin, as it shows they do not know all the wealth in Colombia.

An Invitation to Know Colombia, that we "dare" as thousands of foreigners who dare to enter our borders every day despite the social stigma that we carry, be assured that we are a country driven to `ward and so we can sell the real image of Colombia.
